And why they're ...: It’s less to do with arbitrary roaming charges (get a bunch of data roaming and you just complain to the carrier and get it reversed. Ask any customer service rep for any carrier.) and more to do with the fact that it’s a way of getting more monthly revenue out of people on a regular basis.
