[FSB Features] EBay fee hike sparks seller rebellion - FSB Features - CNNMoney.com: I have been purchasing items on ebay for two years, perfect feedback record, until I made my first laptop purchase, the seller stated the item would ship in three days, I contacted the seller to confirm that the item would ship in three days with a estimated delivery date of 10 days, I had a business trip I needed it for, so I made the purchase, two weeks passed, no computer, no responses to my emails, so I listed it not received on the 15th day, and went to best buy to pick on up, the day I was leaving, still no computer, so I put a note on my door to return it to sender should it arrive while I was out of town, when I came back a week later, it had come, shipped out two weeks after the date we agreed on, I went to my ebay account to find that I had a non payment strike, the issue was under investigation with paypal, which I am glad I used, because they found seller at fault and refunded my money, I was not going to leave any feedback on seller, until I got one for pulling out of the sale after seller broke every promise to me, going against their own items listed description, and its still on my record today that I was proud of building after nearly 200 transactions, when you look at the sellers feedback history, they have a serious problem, every negative feedback they received was somehow the buyers fault, because of my experience with them, I know that it was a tactic they use to hurt the buyers that were not satisfied with their rotten service. Its about time ebay stepped up for the little guy.
